Justin Simpson steps out after his father O.J. Simpson is granted parole from the state of Nevada.
Justin who is Simpson’s youngest child was spotted leaving Walmart in St. Petersburg, Fla., hours after the ruling. Justin was spotted in good spirits and seemed relaxed as photographers tried to ask him questions. The 28-year-old declined to comment and got into his white SUV and drove away.
Simpson’s oldest child Arnelle Simpson, on the other hand, held back tears as she spoke during the hearing. She said that she believes in the true character of her father and that no one knows what an ordeal the last nine years has been for her family. She went on to say that her father has been her rock and best friend. Although she said that her father might not be the best man, he has done his best to be positive no matter what.
Arnelle said that her father did not make the best decision in regards to the 2007 robbery accident which sent Simpson into prison.
She said that her brothers and sisters believe that he took the wrong approach and that he should have handled the situation differently.
Simpson also spoke out about his prison sentence. He said that he has four children and he has missed many years of their lives. He went on to say that he has always been a giving and an open person to the public and right now all he wants is to be with my family.
